Looking for a nice accapella piece for the upcoming Twin Cities workshop.
The piece I started working on won't be ready (technically challenging for me). Anyone have any suggestions for a piece? Something lyrically beautiful but not too technically difficult (still getting my fingers to "work right" after years of alcohol and drug abuse)....

Re: JP 274 Euphonium!!!!
Capital Music Gear in Madison, WI (the eBay seller referenced above) seems to have about half a dozen JP274 horns (in both lacquer and silver-plate).

From Austin Custom Brass's website (specifically referencing bell composition):
Yellow Brass: this bell is an excellent mix of materials for all-around work as this material is very versatile. The sound is clear and brilliant at all dynamic levels, with a good core and great projection.

---> [ SOLD ] <---
Purchased brand new last month (Nov 2022).
Looking to get $6000. Comes with the ABC (adjustable bottom cap) for the fourth valve and Mead springs. Also, if the custom finger buttons I purchased don’t fit on another horn…I’ll include them too once they arrive.

That's quite the minimal time frame. I've spent decades without a clue. LOLbloke wrote: Wed Oct 12, 2022 8:14 am When I was 18 through 21 years old, I supported the “so what“ attitude. I wish I had been smarter.

I appreciate when the artist is familiar enough with the piece they are about to perform to give a quick synopsis.
