Re: Sellmansberger Orchestra Grand Ultimate is here
As response to Mr Dawson, I've said about all I can say about these mouthpieces, their delivery and all that stuff. It's perfectly fine for the thread to evolve, at least as far as I'm concerned. The Beatles reportedly wrote their music before they wrote their lyrics, but they used nonsense lyrics ...

Re: Sellmansberger Orchestra Grand Ultimate is here
If you hadn't sent it and see it fail, the 2 likely didn't chanfe anything. If you did (and it did), then it's a solution. Both land in the same mailbox on the same server . . .
In any case, received and paid!

Re: Sellmansberger Orchestra Grand Ultimate is here
As noted, mail from you comes in fine - I just have no way of knowing if/when you send anything from the payment processor. unless you also mail from your personal mail to let me know.

Re: Sellmansberger Orchestra Grand Ultimate is here
I got an email from you at 1:33 EST stating that the payment email is due later in the day . . . Your mail has never been an issue, but for some reason, some sites refuse to send to my primary email, but simply changing "tadawson" to "tadawson2" works, and nine of the support folks at those sites ...

Re: step-up
Just imagine if tens or hundreds of thousands of people "regulating" the rest of us - who have been prairie-dogging for years in cubicles, while doing things that didn't need to be done - we're trained to do one of those millions of well-paying always-open private sector jobs that aren't ever ...

Re: Musician's chairs?
I hadn't seen those . . . Compared to the Adjustrite, it's outright cheap, but seems like it would still be low for me. Thanks for showing me another option!

How does that compare to "amateurcrastination"?

Re: Musician's chairs?
Thanks . . . I never quit reading, and good suggestions are always welcome. I did order the other (Amazon, so if it doesn't "do it" for me, a return is free . . . )
It somewhat comes down to a fine line between cheap and lazy on my side . . .

Re: Musician's chairs?
These claim to support 225 lbs. If you're "thick", maybe (??) they wouldn't be the thing... ...but typical chair seat heights are 20 - 21 inches, and these (being sold as "bar stools") feature a 24 inch high seat : They appear (??) to be not only portable, but lightweight. (Maybe, you're looking ...

Musician's chairs?
Being 6'5", I find that most folding chairs out there for me are a pain in the back, as well as getting more awkward to get up from as I get older (esp. with my horn). I see a brand "Adjustrite" that makes an adjustable tall musicians chair (seat between 21 and 26 inches - fwiw, 17 and change is ...

Re: My 2¢ worth
Overall, I find this "attitude" to be BS and a theft of my time. If I am being paid for my time (musician or otherwise) and an event is scheduled from X to Y, then any expectation of anything outside that is nothing more than game playing and an attempt to steal my time. Since warming up *IS* a part ...

Re: Did you set your traps?
I tried the steel wool, etc. and all it did was make them chew holes elsewhere and p*ss me off . . . . They cleared a hunk of vacant property near us, and we got overrun with rats, so I decided to go scorched earth/"drop a nuke" and found that the Tomcat bromothalein based baits (example: https ...
