Another stretch.

Looking for a Conn Bb bass mouthpiece from the 20s/30s. I have an almost complete Conn 40k with steamer trunk and all. Just wanted to “complete the kit” sort of thing. Pm me if you have anything.

It might not be on the webpage yet, but Matt can tell you all about it.

It’s not up yet. You don’t happen to have an old photo of it do you?

I ended up not needing them. Just forgot to take down the post. The guy never ended up selling it to me.

I’ll look into that, thanks! I’d rather get a conn or king, mainly for repairability reasons, but I’ll definitely look into it.

WTB/WTT: Conn 40k, 38k, or other 4 valve American sousa *found*

It’s a long shot I know. I would prefer a silver horn. The only other one I’ve found recently is on reverb, but the person does not want to go lower than $4500 which I find is too much for a horn in that shape. I have a nice 1944 Conn 20k I can offer to trade for it(I’ll end up selling it anyways if ...

Re: WTB Buescher Sousaphone Bell Screw (at least one)

I don’t have an original. I emailed the Simonetti museum if he could provide me with a picture of one off of one of his. Currently trying to reproduce a replica bell screw mount as well since one of those is also not original and replaced with whatever allied had at the time. (Doesn’t help that dri ...

WTB Buescher Sousaphone Bell Screw (at least one)

I'm looking to by a Buescher sousaphone bell screw, at least one, for my Buescher jumbo. The Buescher bell screws are not like normal ones as the end of the thread is ground off to a smaller diameter as its not threaded all the way through. I have some conn screws that were adapted to fit, however ...

Re: TRADE: Jumbo sousaphone for Jumbo sousaphone

Im not necessarily looking for a 4 valve, just an conn or a king. I've long admired those and have always wanted one. Soot black is perfectly fine with me. I like my buescher, but dont use it often, which is why id only trade not sell.
