Happy Tuba Tuesday!
In today’s edition, from the Museum, we're featuring the instrument that started it all. Vince saw this Cerveny helicon and just had to have it. The Collection began with a beautiful Cerveny helicon dating from circa 1910, which he found in Boston in 1965 while he was playing tuba in the orchestra for the North American tour of the Russian folk ballet troop, the Moyseev Ballet Company.
