Greetings,
I am under the impresssion that posting vacancies and audition announcements is acceptable on this forum, I apologize if that is not the case.
My name is Sebastian Bell and I am a trombonist in the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band and currently also part of our band's audition team. The Heritage of America Band, located in Hampton, Virginia, is one of four U.S. Air Force regional bands that handle auditions for the entire regional band career field.
I am glad to be part of this community and would like to use this forum to provide some basic information about the Air Force bands, our vacancies, auditions and answer any questions students and professional players and educators interested in joining the Air Force bands may have.
I am doing this in part as my unit is holding an audition for TUBA ON APRIL 29th 2025 that I would like as many potential applicants to know about as possible. I also hope to give members of this community a chance to ask for and receive information about a career in the U.S. Air Force as a musician for potential future audition opportunities.
As a start, please see the below links for general information about our upcoming audition on:

I am looking forward to any questions asked either in response to this post or via private message. I am also reachable via hoabauditions@gmail.com
Very respectfully,
Sebastian Bell, SrA, USAF
