Looking for: Selmer Bundy Sousa bits
Hey all!
I’m looking for a set of Selmer Bundy sousaphone bits. I’ll pay money or trade. I have tons of great, cool, interesting, odd stuff to trade.
The bits look like this:

I believe I have a set of these that are sort of matte dark-gold-lacquered. I will check this evening.

Yep, that's the one. Late gig last night and I forgot. I'll set a reminder for myself today when I get home.

Actually think those are painted with translucent paint. It might be a lacquer type of paint, but I think it's a solid color. I don't know if I have any of those, but if Blake has some, I don't need to look and see if I have any.

Yep, but I seem to be coming up short. Maybe I dreamt it all. I am sorry!

Re: Looking for: Selmer Bundy Sousa bits
Do you have the Selmer/Bundy gooseneck that has the oblique, almost fish-hook profile? (S150 on the chart) If you do, here's what I did to make the 'glass Signet souzy more playable: purchase a Jupiter neck and bits instead. The Jupiter gooseneck male diameter is (well, within .001) the same diameter as the Selmer/Signet/Bundy, and the angles of the Jupiter gooseneck and bits are much more adjustable. Keep what you have in case you want to sell the souzy, but at least for me, I couldn't get the stock setup to get the mouthpiece to the proper alignment to my embouchure. And, of course, since they are current production, they are much easier to get.
