mirafone valve screw solutions?

missing screw on a mirafone tuba valve - does anyone know of alternative solutions? - cannot find the part - any help is appreciated!

Which screw? There are a few, depending on the model.

Center/stem/stop-arm screws (unless a super-old tuba, and maybe even those as well) are M3x.5 thread.

The cork plate screws are more of an issue as they are a size that is hard to find in the US. You won't find it at Ace Hardware.

These may be a wee bit too long, and (me?) I'd prefer to pick the lock washers off of them...but (again) only a dime each for enough for an impressive fleet of Miraphonia...

more misc. info:

The EARLY 1960's carriage rod knurled nuts are ALSO this same smaller thread size whereby the more-recent ones are the M3x.5

Miraphone will still supply the old/smaller-size knurled carriage rod nuts to peeps like Wade and me...but (at least I'm not - other than macro - such as importing several new BELLS at one time offering only "dock pickup") I'm assuming that neither of us is interested in being a "minutia Miraphone parts dealer".
