Tuba and Euph student openings at Northwestern

Dear Tuba and Euphonium Musicians,

We are happy to announce that there will be multiple openings for both tuba and euphonium in the studio at the Bienen School of Music here at Northwestern University. We are proud to be able to offer state of the art facilities, the advantages of a top notch academic research institution, as well as easy access to world class performances including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, as well as chamber music, solo recitals and international touring musicians.

Hi, do you mind me asking how many total undergraduate tuba students you have at the tuba studio? Will there be any openings for undergraduate next year (fall 2026)?

We currently have 5 undergrads, and yes should have openings for fall 2026!
