I did some quick Google searching for the Besson 13 mouthpiece. It does seem to be a Trombone/Euphonium (or maybe baritone would be more accurate since UK bands in the past make an actual distinction...)
But, when you get a chance to upload pictures, I am curious to see what yours looks like.

It's possible that they shared or recycled model numbers, but I owned one that came with a Besson 3+1 Eb and it was definitely a small tuba mouthpiece.PlayTheTuba wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 9:17 am I did some quick Google searching for the Besson 13 mouthpiece. @WakinAZ -- I sent you an email.
Man, people and/or manufacturers like reusing/repurposing model names and numbers...
Seeing as I have the (super flat, added tubing so it's a Tuba in D) Low Pitch Salvation Army Eb and it has a Euph MEDIUM shank, NOT a small tuba (ie British/Large shank T-bone/Old American Eb tuba) shank...
I wondered what would be the actual size mouthpiece that would've been used on it... The large shank tenor T-bone mouthpiece I have seems to be too small outside of "high in the sky playing."
The (2 piece steel) Kelly X-SMALL mouthpiece seems to be the same size and depth that the old American Monster Eb's* would have came with when they were new. At least from various photos and online catalogs that I have seen.
*6/4, like the modern Wessex Tubby Eb, or how big the modern short one-piece bell King 2341 BBb's are, Eastman EBC 632/832 4/4 CC's* - for those who are not super into tubas like I am

Although, a Denis Wick 5 might be even smaller than the Kelly X-SMALL... I did try a colleagues Denis Wick 4 several years ago... Maybe that would've been the size of mouthpiece what would've been used with SA tuba was new...

Or look at actual Besson or Boosey and Hawks catalogs from the early 1900's. They might have a photo/diagram of the mouthpieces that was used...
Lots of ramblings, my bad.

Pics added for the Kellyberg. Blake, I emailed you back.
All: Yes, it's fun to discuss old tuba stuff, but let's keep the comments brief and on point. If arpthark thinks the Besson is a tuba piece, I would trust his judgment above mine.
