LOL. Were I to play it that way (8ve lower), that would be one pitch where by the 4th circuit would be set for the wrong length ( referring back to setting my fourth slide for 2-4 B natural).![]()

Playing it that way, it would be a low noise that would disappear in a flash, as does (other than its fuel) a short percussive fart. Probably, it's a fairly low percentage of the population who tune their farts.
Had that couple edited the part a little more intelligently, they would have also placed the following E-natural in the same octave, and then dropped down to F-sharp afterwards, but perhaps they considered that double low E to be something that couldn't be sacrificed.

Thats the money note of the whole thing! Tuba & bass trombone in octaves on the low E, that's what I live for!
