Looks to maybe be high pitch? I have a LP one that has a bowed-out tuning slide.

If this was half the price I'd be tempted.

What if it were twice the tuba?

PS 1907? about as new. Distin as you'll find...

Not entirely sold on it being high pitch just because there isn't a waggle in the MTS. Inner wrap is pretty close to the bottom bow, and on originally high pitched ones i think there might be more space? At least i've seen that detail on other makes... I think i've seen it on Distin/Keefer?

PPS They do say "price negotiable" for what it is worth.

Here's the bowed slide from Horn-u-copia for comparison:

Thanks! I went to see the horn-u-copia Distins, and yeah if i had a point, it mighta only applied to one model (or pair of models)

The English Distin in particular (so cool!) is listed as high pitch, but the inner branch is virtually touching the bottom bow.

Oh well. I'm used to being wrong.
