Hey folks, I've got an Eastman tuba shipping box that's free for the taking. All you need to do is come get it before I cut it up and burn it. I'm in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. I'd like to have it gone ASAP and won't keep it more than another week or so before it goes on the burn-pile. First come, first served. FWIW, it's larger than my NYC studio apartment was and would also make a great "cat-condo"...
Merry Christmas,

Please recycle in some way. Burning is not very carbon neutral.
CCC.

I usually fly into CVG for Christmas but this year it's LEX. Dang. Could've picked it up on my way to my folks' house.

I suppose the fossil fuels involved with "recycling" the amount of cardboard here would be justified...since I'd feel better about myself. Maybe I could just purchase some carbon off-set credits.

Rather than burning the cardboard, put it in your fireplace and use it as kindling.
Also, (re: carbon credits) I've noticed that you are in darn good physical shape, and I might recommend that you abandon whatever habits you have formed, and form new habits which involve overeating - and to an epic extent. If you can manage to shorten your life by several years, that would be fewer years that you would be expelling carbon into the atmosphere via respiration.
Otherwise, you might consider shipping the carton to San Francisco, whereby it could supply someone with a nice new home in front of a bank or department store, etc.
