WTB - King Rotary Tuba & Other Oddities

After a bit of a hiatus, and selling the vast majority of my instruments to stay afloat, I'm now in a position to reacquire some oddities. In order of likelihood...

1. First to find is a King BBb rotary tuba - preferably one of the Pit tubas. I desperately miss the silver beast I sold a long while back.

2. The Carl Fischer BBb helicon I sold to a member on the board here with its 30" bell. Another tuba I miss playing...

3. Conn BBb raincatcher (Jumbo preferred) - hard to find... Again, I miss the 36K I traded away :facepalm2:

4. That EEb helicon that used to be in Michigan (or still is)...

5. A double tuba made by Gronitz - only ones I know of are the double tubas in Dr. Young's possession. Would be swell to actually play that 7 valve King.

6. The subbass EEb tuba that was stolen from the University of Illinois and made its way into the hands of a few board members here. I think it's owned by a great player over in Europe these days.

7. My Jazzophone - not sure if the Northern European player is still playing it or not.

Let me know if anyone has any of the above and would be willing to part with them!

I had a pit tuba for a while and liked it. I also had a three-valve rotary king BBb (bell front) and it was one of the best-playing tubas I ever had. It was very heavy to hold, and I eventually sold it. Now (of course) I wish I had kept it. Good luck with your search!
