It's a remarkably great-playing horn, but life goes on.
Kit's getting a kick out of it.
LOL...The last time I used it was in that silly Hallmark movie.

For a Hallmark movie, that one one wasn’t bad!

Without that four-word qualifier, yeah...it was ...bad.
bloke "The two hours paid for (audio) recording at Ardent Studios plus the rest of the day at the shoot (and being able to eat off the nicer/headliners' buffet - vs. the extras' food wagon) made the day worth it...and it was - well, sort of - a hoot."

A young boy (who had no idea that he was an orphaned prince) befriends a bewitched princess (turned into a pelican by an evil sorceress), grows up, happens to kiss the long-befriended pelican on the cheek, the pelican jabs him in the eye (penetrating the young man's brain) as the young man grabs the pelican by the neck, and they both die...
...oh...you said "HELICON"...

Wait, that's a real movie?
Personally i like the Ogden Nash couplet about the pelican.
I still remember being surprised to see pelicans in lakes as i drove through North Dakota a while back. They sure get around.

My parents had a Nash Pelican, I believe it was a B-flat Pelican. My dad wasn't much of a sporty person.
