Warning/PSA: Unless you physically walk in the bank when they cut the check or you make the buyer go with you to YOUR bank and verify the check, cashier's checks are EASILY and COMMONLY faked. My wife and I got scammed on a very convincing cashier's check. Fortunately the flute we were selling had a special line item on our insurance. So our insurance covered the theft.
