I have a gig in Banff of Saturday 1/25.
Flying in to Calgary on Friday and back out Sunday evening.
I always try to not fly with my sousaphone and instead find a rental.
If you've got a decently functioning BBb sousaphone in the Calgary/Banff area that you're willing to rent out, I'd happily pay you instead of paying the airline to mess up my horn.
