It's one of those whereby the manager (once stuff in the back begins to be crowding the shelves, and stuff in the front hasn't sold) they SERIOUSLY start marking down selected items that have been there too long.
I've bought several things there - for $10 - $40 - that the original new cost (best pricing) is $100 - $250.
...a new-condition CUBE-60 amp (for my drum machine), a RIDGID new-condition drill-and-charger (to complete the set with my RIDGID impact driver), etc., etc., etc... (I bought a $XXXX solid body electric guitar - boutique maker, apparently unknown to other store patrons) for $30 - during the economic shutdown...I didn't need it - yet couldn't let it sit there, so I gave it to my grandkids.)
There were several terrific bargains there yesterday, but (something else) I don't just buy stuff for near giveaway prices because it's cheap, I ALSO must have USE for those things.
This was the only thing (marked WAY down) for which I will likely have use: (It was ten bucks.)

I have a handheld jigsaw, but these are tons better...and (making a promise to myself, as I've done some crazy stuff with circular saws, when in a hurry, and didn't choose to stop and go get the appropriate tool) I will NO LONGER pin the guard back on my circular saw to face-cut tight curves, odd shapes and continuously-changing angles (for misc. applications). I WILL stop and get out the CORRECT tool, and no longer risk my fingers (or hand).
