Willson 3400S-FA5 Valve Thread Size?

I have the above horn. One of the valve casings feels to have a little thread damage, so thinking to see if someone local has a die or mandrel to chase it. Anyone know what size it might be? Pitch is around 32 tpi or 0.8mm, and major diameter is 1.21” or a skosh under 31mm. Assume it is something metric but don’t know for sure - the other hardware on the horn that I have fooled with is one SAE and one metric so far.

Thanks,

Eric

For a one off job.. I would just use a triangular jewelers file to chase the threads.

That had crossed my mind also, but if someone local has the right mandrel it might come out a little better.

The other thing I could do is just email and ask them - duh! I sent them a question about something else a while back and Willi Kurath himself got back to me, tho it took a while.
