A 1960's Amati(Cerveny) kaiser baritone with four valves. Other names for this germanic horn include oval euphonium, and it's a close cousin to the german tenor horn.
It comes with a handsome hardcase, and high quality soft case. The soft case includes a bell cover with foam, and the bell-end of the case includes a wood bell gaurd. It also converts to a backpack, see pictures.
The mouthpiece included is a Giddings and Webster "Euros" in stainless steel.
Just had the horn ultrasonically cleaned internally, inspected, and shined up.
I played this horn as a soloist for the Oregon Mahler Festival in 2022. I'm a tubist, and can't really justify owning it, as I hardly play it.
Horn is located near Portland, Oregon. I'm moving to Boston, Massachusetts in April. Shipping can be arranged but I'd prefer to drive if the buyer is within a few hours of either location. Thanks for looking! I also have a BBb tuba for sale.
