This is for buying or selling your personal equipment, but sponsored selling is allowed as well. We are requiring all ads to have the following information. Price, (even for trades) Brand, Model, and location (for instruments, not accessories) need to be included in the ad, or at least be very clear in link provided. It is acceptable to link to an external ad if you are promoting a sale of your personal equipment. No Ebay Auctions, but Buy it now listings are fine. Photos are HIGHLY suggested as well. If you see an ad that does not meet these criteria, please report it.
My name is Nathan Sobieralski, owner of S-Mute. I've developed a patented system for brass instrument mutes that allows you to selectively install corks of varying thickness so you can adjust the mute for different bell throat sizes. The tuba version has gone through design and testing and it works quite well! These are available as a pre sale through the link below with a target shipping date of 3/15 (possibly sooner). The tuba sets come with up to three thicknesses to accommodate 4/4, 5/4 and 6/4 tubas and are also available in customer specified sizes. Im excited about this product and welcome your thoughts/questions!
UPDATE: The last piece of the puzzle arrived yesterday to complete the first batch of these adapters, standard sets are expected to ship Monday 3/3!
Custom size requests will always be a 2 week lead time, but I expect to have an ongoing stock of the standard sets in foam rubber and rubber infused cork gripping materials.
