Friends does anyone have the tuba results of this year’s summer festival auditions? Can we make a list?
Hot Springs, Brevard, Aspen, Tanglewood, Lake George, NRO, all the others? Where can we find this?

Thank you. Wow. Searching these names on Google shows one is a college professor, one won the Fort Wayne Symphony in October, one won Palm Beach Philharmonic.
Being a freshman I didn’t realize festivals were this competitive. Guess I’ll have to look at workshops instead for now lol

With this level of placement, it's kind of mystifying that ITEA didn't accept Aaron's application to speak and/or perform at the Arizona conference.

Doesn’t mean to not try. Robyn Black at age 18 beat several pros for Milwaukee.
I took an audition for a “full time” orchestra in November that pays less than $40,000 a year. 106 people showed up, many with the same qualifications on paper as me.
