Plays really well with a great low register! Very good intonation.
Comes with new Götz bag.

First, Norm is a great person, and a first rate repairman and tuba builder. If he did all this work intending to keep it for himself... It's the real deal.
Lots of new parts. That wasn't cheap, and probably took a long time to get.
That gig bag -- a beauty!
And early 90s is a great vintagey for B&S. Not sure if this is handmade or not, but that seems to be when the handmade ones were out there. A person next to me in band about 15 years ago had the VMI version of this. It was a solid tuba, big sound, and easy to play. A great choice!
Just about guaranteed to be a great large (non-Kaiser) BBb tuba.
Sadly, it is not handmade. It does have a great core sound and is very focused for a large BBb. Intonation is very good also.
The tuba is extremely fun to play and puts out a ton of sound.

A few things to call out here:

Just wanted to reiterate these thoughts from TWO?? months ago.
If I thought I could make a fair-enough offer on this tuba...!
