Any mouthpiece recommendations? I plugged an old something or another in there today, and it worked just fine. Only had 20 minutes on it today, but it was 20 badass minutes. SO easy to play!
New blood, Part 2 is in Iowa right now. I'll post about that in a few weeks when I get it back.

I only had 20 minutes, but it was outrageous. Maybe a minute of fumbling around to figure out how blow the air for it, then it was all go. Not much it can't do, and I know I'm to blame for all that. Easy to hold, easy to play, great valves. Made in England.
It is the intersection of opportunity and curiosity. Going in, I didn't expect to keep it very long. Time will tell. It's wonderful. I just need to see if it's also useful.
PS, this was like my first real 20 minutes on an Eb tuba. Loved it!

Parker Bel Canto (designed for this horn), Dillon S3 or S2 (also designed for this horn). Note the Parker shank is VERY short relative to its peers. I believe Chronkhite has a Chocolate Brown Leather bag in stock for this horn. There's a Miraphone bag that fits just about perfectly.

Which model for the Miraphone bag?
The receiver is already all up on the bell, so a super short shank seems less desirable. I haven't tried my Thein RCC on it yet, but sure that's too big. Kinda wonder if there's a Thein bass tuba mouthpiece that would work well for me on this. Because the RCC is here to stay, and I wouldn't mind a lil sister to it for the bass tuba.

I'm selling one, BTW. At least that's the one I ordered for my 983 back in May 2020. It's really close on size and fit the 2141 perfectly (very similar dimensions.
