Nirschl tuba 6/4 York Model for sale!!

After twelve years, with a heavy heart, I want to part from my Nirschl York 6/4 Tuba Walter build for me.
I selected it in Geretsried from a batch of four.
The tuba is located in Maastricht Netherlands.

The tuba is not played that much any more and is up for sale.

It is a fine example of the Nirschl York tuba's.
Small makings of age are visible but tuba has been overhauled recently (no dents). See Pictures.


Changes are buttons put on the pumps to attach the strings and It also has a more comfortable adjustable thumbring. See pictures
Otherwise the tuba is completely original.

Come’s with original Nirschl flight case (see picture) and possibly a gig bag for transport.

Price EUR 15.000,-

Based on the Spanish email address, I’m guessing a translation mixup between available and free (“are you free/available this evening?” vs. “is the instrument still available?”, in which case “free” has the unintended monetary connotation).

If it's all German made, that's not very much more than the Chinese prices, and seems like it's priced to sell, at least to me.

Despite this sale having been posted over a year ago, until @EmptyCase came along we had a thread populated solely by "one-post-Johnnys"…
