What a beauty!
Looking at this tuba AND bit, I can’t help wonder if the intention was to use a similar single bit with the two CSO Yorks and it wasn’t followed through… Would explain the very similar leadpipe angle on them.

Absolutely stunning. If I didn't already have my Martin in the same configuration, I'd be all over this.
(I do have a 4 valve Martin mammoth sousa on the market at the moment, however, on the topic of "trades for vintage horns" though)

I had a good sit-down with this and she's a player! She had a leaky main tuning spit valve leak that I hadn't noticed and promptly fixed, and oh boy I just might keep it.

Limitless sound, and will definitely not crack if you have the gas to give it. This was the horn of a regionally notable polka band leader in the Midwest, who sadly passed away.
I have a tiny brass adapter I used with the kaiser bit which allowed me to use a normal sized mouthpiece, which sadly for me, works better than using the original kaiser shank mouthpiece. Bump!

Where can I fine a mouthpiece that will fit this York tuba?

The original York mouthpieces had a huge shank. I have one, but not interested in selling. I also made an adapter that lets me use a euro shank mouthpiece that works pretty well. Again, not interested in selling it but you could have an adaptor made.

Would a Conn bit be a poor man's stopgap adaptor?
Or is that just crazy talk?
PS: Not mutually exclusive.

A Conn bit will rattle around in the York receiver.
I found a York Monster sousaphone bit, cut the tapered part off and used that as an adapter (soldered the ‘ring’ from the mouthpiece end of the bit into the same spot of the tapered section.) That allows me to use a euro shank mouthpiece.
In the picture below: mouthpiece shank at bottom left is a York BICO Al-Tru 76. Shank on the right is a Stofer Geib (American shank.) Silver is a York monster BBb sousaphone bit. Then there’s the adapter I “made” from another York sousa bit.

Heck, the big York mouthpiece shanks are noticeably larger than an Alexander mouthpiece.

Oh right. It was a bit with tape on it. Seemed to seal well enough to make a sound, but it is on par with the garden hose eb-bbb tuning slide extension. (or at least plastic tubing... seen on a helicon at honk! fest pre-pandemic. I didn't stop to ask.)
Sorry for unacceptably low standards.
