Got the “all clear” from the Burnsville PD, called the pawn shop and was told that it had sold. Sigh.

I called the Burnsville police to see if they had any reports of stolen tubas. They were going to call the pawn shop and investigate.

I may have to take a tuba on a flight, and quite frankly the thought really scares me. Thanks to everyone for their advice. I decided to try Tarni-Shield and finally got around to shining up the horn today. Although it smells a bit funky, it is easy to apply and remove. And most importantly, the results look pretty spectacular!

Looking to shine up a moderately tarnished horn, so...
