Vintage Mirafone 186 Front facing bell

https://ebay.io/m/RPfHLI
This one been here awhile. The serial number of the bell and body seem to be different. Is the serial number on the flange an actual serial number? Or maybe some other miscellaneous number? How hard would yall think to get a proper bell for this one? Definitely interesting imo

Re: VMI 132 CC Tuba (Dillon)

If I had the $, I'd probably buy this and I'm sure I would be happy with it.

I went back and listened to some.recorsings from when I used this. It really was a good sounding tuba. I bet I could play it better NOW then I did back THEN. :tuba:

It says it takes an American shank, is that true ...

Yeah the serial number makes it worth the price alone in my opinion. I was very tempted but I think im gonna keep waiting for a MW 32/33

I can't remember if I played this model, but I ...

Re: New Alexanders at Wichita Band (163 CC, 164 BBb, 155 F)

Has anyone played the new Alexanders and compared them side by side to the older ones? I've owned 3 older Alex's from the 50s to the 70s but never even held one of these new ones. I know they claim to have retained the same Alexander sound but have corrected some of the intonation quirks but ive ...

Where did you get this horn? Looks a lot like the one I used to own a very long time ago albeit with more corrosion.
