Re: WTB Cronkite Cordura bag for Eastman 836?

@the elephant The one that lists the 836 for it is leather. The cordura bag is a Gronitz PCK bag. We would be happy to take measurements of the bags and discuss it with you.

@the elephant @Aiden Pisterov

Lee Stofer has a cordura and a leather bag that should fit 836 sized tubas. I would encourage you to give him a call. I just posted photos of some of the bags available on his business Facebook page.

Re: Kanstul Eb F Standard mouthpiece

From what I remember, Lee gave then an RM 9 to copy. The Kanstul Eb/F mouthpiece is very heavily influenced by that Rudolf Meinl mouthpiece. Lee can probably give you more information on this.

When I studied with him he had a piston Hirsbrunner F. I'm not sure which model model. He is a great guy. I'm sure he would be willing to work with you.

Re: Lee Stofer -No longer carries Lidl?

I sent this page to Lee hoping he would respond, but since he hasn't yet, I'll share what I know. I removed the Lidl tubas from Lee's website at his request. On March 4th we drove the remaining Lidl stock to Buddy Rogers Music in Ohio. At this time they are representing Lidl. We are more than happy ...

@LeMark The BBb piggy is in the truck and will be at the conference. It's a very nice playing tuba. Of course, I may be a little biased as I thoroughly enjoy playing my Cerveny Piggy CC tuba.

Re: FS: 1970s Walter Sear Cerveny 601 CC Tuba, $3,000

Honestly, I would have to check again, but I don't think that they do. I figured it had something to do with damage control, but I haven't seen them on too many instruments, so I thought they may also be considered to serve some other purpose as well.

Re: FS: 1970s Walter Sear Cerveny 601 CC Tuba, $3,000

I would be interested to know more about those (for lack of a better term) "weights" that are soldered on the fourth valve tubing on the back of the tuba by the bottom bow. My (non-Sear) Cerveny Piggy has those in nearly identical spots. I haven't seen those on too many tubas. Just curious if anyone ...

SOLD: Willson 2975 Euphonium

Hello, I have a Willson 2975 euphonium that I would like to sell. This is the 4 valve compensating front action model. My daughter has been using it for band this summer, but she prefers her Besson. I replaced the original leadpipe with a new nickel silver leadpipe from Willson. It is lacquered and ...

Re: FS: Buescher Custom CC Tuba

I would say it is very close to the HB2P in size (although it does not have the same "problem area" around the low Bb that the HB2P is known to have). It plays so well. I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest.
