Re: B&S models 105 & 106...

Thanks, guys! The 105 sure looks like a 103 with a possibly-bigger bell and bell krantz. I can't find catalogs on TheBerlinerTuba forum but - boy! - I am lucky I made it outta that rabbit hole alive! It's loaded with good stuff! There's just the one page in the posting (shown below). Can't really ...

Re: B&S models 105 & 106...

Re: Oshkosh, WI (FB): maybe a monster Eb? Any idea? $500

Looks like a King. I couldn't find any pictures of a monster Eb with the loop in the leadpipe like that save for the bell-front Symphony model (1235). More here.

Re: Jim Self's Old #1

Fixed bell, loop in the leadpipe. I think they stopped making those during/after WW2. I had one for several years (SN put mfg date at 1927), good horns.

It would be good to hear any reviews of the Lidls. I’ve heard a few folks say good things, just looking for more data points.

Re: Western NY: Besson 3v comp BBb $275

It's near where I have family, but it would still require a two-day drive (at least) to go get it.
