What a journey of discovery, and it delivered a great playing instrument I can see a manufacturer knocking on your door! Or someone with a cheque wanting to buy it

I use a 4 with my small bell imperial, there are a couple on eBay uk currently without the L

The other option is change the receiver to take a large shank, personally not a fan of that option.

For me it’s the Edgware made 981

Not sure what your budget is, but mr tuba has a number at varying prices, FYI I bought one of eBay a couple of months ago in good condition for £1k so be patient and keep looking
