Do the valves need cleaning due to leftover machining debris or oil that collects dirt? I have read about the slides. Did you have the 14 or 16 inch bell? How was the sound?

I have a Finke euphonium with different linkages on the valves and a horizontal main slide at the bottom, so I'm thinking itay be a later model. Anyone have information on its production or howuch it may be worth? What was the preferred mouthpiece used with this horn?
