Original Owner – Everett Larson 1993-2019
2nd Owner Tim Jackson 2019 -2024
Excellent versatile CC 5-valve tuba in remarkable condition and easily considered “just broken in”. Everett (original owner) was an engineering major at Boston University who loved music and tuba. He was an amateur tubist and, luckily, was said to be OCD when it came to caring for this tuba. When I bought the tuba in 2019 it seemed like a new instrument… just barley broke in. I have enjoyed the horn immensely and over the last year or so, it has become by daily player. Since I do not gig on tuba, the instrument only left my house for a few quintet gigs and a couple of recitals. The plating is 95%. A few traces of silver loss in inconspicuous places. The horn is beautiful and presents itself like a new horn. I find the horn extremely responsive, with an even scale and good intonation. Great compression and overall fun horn to play. Slides move smoothly and the MW valves are fast. The horn is located in Pensacola Florida. I will consider shipping & handling at owners expense. Requests for additional information welcome. No trades at this time.
