Selling my J-445, it's allowed me to learn F tuba as well as prepare for college auditions and the TCCBDA Concerto Competition, in which I won. It has a nice deep sound and works great as a starter F tuba. Willing to let it go for $2,800, meeting up somewhere in Texas that's a reasonable drive from Corpus Christi. I'm willing to ship at buyer's expense. The horn itself is located in Aransas Pass, TX, 25 minutes north of Corpus Christi.
Horn received a full service and cleaning by Ed Avila at South Texas Music Mart, with the only major modification being a slightly shortened 1st slide, as it was too long at first. The only blemish on the tuba is some plating wearing off on the 1st slide aside from a few very minor dents. Comes with an MTS hard shell case.
