Sold.

I have something else antique wise on the line, so I am going to sell this very rare instrument.
A c. 1884 silver plated Conn 3 Stoelzel valve Eb tuba...plays quite well. Conn’s own modified Stoelzel valves, which he patented (patent # 249,012).

One of four Conn upright Eb Stoelzel valve tubas known, and the only one in silver. Extremely rare.
Sold.
Price is $1600 plus packing and shipping costs. The horn plays very good, NOT a wall hanger.
