FS: Conn 24/25J w/recording & Kanstul upright bells

Post by Dan Tuba »

For Sale is a beautiful restored Conn 24/25J tuba. The tuba comes with an original recording bell, a 20 inch Kanstul upright bell, and an Altieri Gig Bag (Complete package!). I will not sell any part of this separately, only the package. Local sale is preferred, I am willing to drive to meet a potential buyer(limited to 150 mile radius). Shipping is at the buyers expense and risk. No Greyhound. (Shipping for this package will be around $400, ouch! Depending on where you are located.) Payment via PayPal. You can hear this tuba in action here:

Why am I selling? I have two of these monsters 😂 and I purchased an EEb. Feel free to ask questions.

To my knowledge, it is no longer possible to purchase a new Kanstul bell since the company went out of business. It's a shame, they are nice bells, although I don't know that they offer any real benefits, other than at least having the option to purchase an upright bell if you don't already own one. The Kanstul Bell is a little easier if you're in a tight space, and perhaps looks better to some  I have played a lot on both the original and Kanstul upright bells, they both work well. I personally prefer the original upright bell, and I love the recording bell. I know that these tubas aren't for everyone, but I really like them for what I use them for.
