Techs, what would you not touch?

Post by Name_Plate »

This is a more broad question overall, but I have seen various techs saying that they won't touch certain instruments or brands for any reason what so ever. What brands or instruments are these? I imagine brands like Mendini and other low quality stuff is something you wouldn't touch.

If I look at it...and believe I can improve it...and believe that I'll be paid...I'll touch it.

I've repaired some priced-at "$6XXX" Chinese tubas that made me SMH (I only repaired the things that I was asked to repair), but (well...) the aspects that I remedied were better when I was done, the customers were smiling, and I was paid.

“tech”...??
I’m just a “repair-guy”.

NOTE:
I just accidentally noticed that the "strikethrough" function works on this site.
The code for it is "s" (inside brackets - as with the other codes).

OK...I just had to reboot the page...something about "secure connection failing"...so I guess I'm going to go back and subscribe to tubenet.
