In case it makes a difference, is this as a first instrument (need to learn music reading and all that, too), or for picking up baritone after playing something else?

I've been playing the Bb soprano and bass clarinet for years. I play the Rose Etudes for clarinet. I'm looking for etudes for baritone and euphonium.

No. The bass clarinet is an octave lower the Bb soprano so it is usually written in treble clef. I can, however, play it in the bass clef. I'm familiar with both clefs.

Considering you read already, Rubanks intermediate and advanced methods would work. Then transition to Rochut etudes. After that seek out tools for your specific needs (range, technique, flexibility, etc.)
