I have a bunch of parts for a YBB-201. Any interest in parts?

Post by BopEuph »

A friend of mine basically dumped a box of parts to a YEP-201 in my lap. Basically everything except for the valve casings is here. I have no need for this stuff, since I don't play Yamaha at all.

Would anyone have any use for this stuff? Willing to sell a part at a time.

I'll take pics of whatever requested.

EDIT: Because of my absent-mindedness when I posted this, I really messed up. It's a YBB-201; top action 3-valve BBb.

The title says you have a BBb tuba, but the text body says it is a euphonium. Which is it?

Oops, yeah, tuba. YBB-201. I must have the only phone in the world that would have auto corrected that!

If it is a YBB-103 in kit form, minus the valve casings, I might be interested. I have a King 1241 valve cluster that needs a tuba...
Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC

Yep, sorry. 201, as in BBb upright 3-valve. Maybe I'll get this right in the morning!

Not terrible. Here's a pic in its fully assembled state. The lip of the bell isn't perfect, but I think it's very repairable.

I'll get some more pics next week. This week's gig is very schedule intense (and the arrangements are so bad I'm spending my free time deciphering what they need).
