There was a guy on tubenet who posted as PolkaNoble who had one. According to his signature at the link above, his name was Max Tunnell.

Re: WTB: Gold Brass 5/4 Rudolf Meinl CC Tuba
SIDEBAR:
I've always found that gold brass instruments (roughly: 80:20 alloy) sound just like yellow brass instruments (roughly 70:30 alloy), but that the gold brass ones never seem to put out quite as much sound (dB's) for an equivalent effort.
Has anyone else observed this (when they've have the luxury of side-by-side same-model comparisons), or not, or have they observed the opposite?

Uh... a yellow brass Rudy 5/4 is pretty darned dark and sonorous already. Is goldbrass really necessary?

Re: WTB: Gold Brass 5/4 Rudolf Meinl CC Tuba
Has anyone ever seen a RM bell covered in spider cracks?
I've seen two, and both were yellow brass.
Those bells (malleability-wise) are different from other bells...but I'm not sure how.
It's really tricky to remove a crease without creating another crease.
