The 2022 United States Army Band Tuba-Euphonium Workshop will be held February 2-5 at Bruckner Hall, Fort Myer, Virginia. We are currently planning to be in-person and look forward to a normal year of amazing recitals, seminars, and seeing our tuba/euphonium community in our building!

For those who would like to take part in the 2022 workshop, proposals are due SEPTEMBER 15, 2021. You can visit our website to submit a proposal by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page, and click on the tab labeled, "PROPOSALS."

He never goes.. Even when I was the main guy over on tubenet, working every day to help make that place better, he never had the decency to show up and say Hi, let alone thank you. (Farah did show up both years I was there) The band that he plays with has nothing to do with the workshop, so he's not obligated to be there.
Yep, I'm Mark

I was attempting to be sardonic, but I guess I failed. Oh, well. Poor me. However, nothing in your reply surprised me in the least.

I think that little bit of reality is sad.

He was there for a while—I exchanged chit-chat with him several times over the years and he presented me to Gene Pokorny at the latter’s request one year. But all that was a looong time ago, before Mark was “on staff”.

It was 2005. If the first five minutes of this recording of his master class doesn’t humble you, nothing will.

Just amazing.
