Post by Txlang »

Hi All,

Im searching for a Mirafone Recording Bell Case. I have a 1965 Mirafone 186, have the bell, have the case for the body but not the bell.
If you happen to have one or know of another type case that works please shoot me a message.

OR...if you happen to want to buy the Mirafone body and Bell shoot me a message. The body and bell are in relatively good shape. Id be happy to send you pictures if you are interested

Miraphone recording bells are only 20" diameter, whereas King were 22"...

...so why not just seek out one of those nice sturdy King (H.N. White through Magnavox era curved - not the later-made crappy boxy ones) King recording bell cases...??

NOT one of these decline-and-fall-of-America later-made sh!tty fall-apart ones...

...but one of THESE made-when-America-was-great last-forever ones...

Which should also hold an upright bell, should you acquire one...

I had one but it fell apart. It was not built well and used very thin wood. Could not even keep together with duct tape. Used the smallest nails I have ever seen.

Bloke's suggestion is the best.
