If so, would someone with a saved copy of the Tuba 1 part be willing to type out rehearsal LETTERS corresponding to measure NUMBERS in a subsequent post?

I seriously doubt if anyone is really interested, but the person I was trying to help actually did find the edition that features rehearsal LETTERS, so one does actually exist.

A little off topic, but I prefer the edition with the numbers for this reason alone—the “Dies Irae” chant in the final movement begins after the 6th measure of rehearsal 66 (so, in all reality, after 666). I didn’t know another edition was being used that had letters.

After all, google already knows precisely which types of sex, razor blades, and cars everyone prefers, so why not musical tastes?
