I guess I should call Dan to talk about it (if he still has it). Anyone familiar with this one?
" J.W. York Eb tuba: Model 670. Nice instrument. Bright lacquered brass with three front-action piston valves. Very nice condition having been overhauled sometime ago with only minor dents, nothing big. No case. We will post actual pics as soon as time permits. Feel free to e-mail the shop for details.
$2400"

Looks nice!
I've always been under the impression that Dan's for-sale site hasn't been updated in many years... so I wouldn't count on it still being there. But I would count on Dan to reply to an email or phone call to ask.

I have emailed Dan in the past, and he will reply to emails, but he told me he (like many of us) prefers phone calls for these types of discussions, as they are often detailed. We wind up having a good BS session along the way, so it's not a bad deal at all.

Dan does prefer phone calls. Because if he doesn't have that horn anymore, he probably has a lead on a horn you might really like. He will ask detailed questions about your preferences.

personally I'd rather have the King that's in Arizona for less than half the price.

I'm so tempted to drive out there an pick this one up. He sent me a bunch of pics including the valves, and they look great. Let me know if you want the emailed pics
