As far as I can tell, that 18” short bell (33”ish inch tall tubs) came in:

-18” Top action monster Eb
-high/low pitched top action 700 series. The low pitch (only) 700 series at the 37ish”


Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC

Yes, I sort of did, some time ago. It actually had a detachable bell - the same length as the 700 series bell, but detachable. I eventually removed that bell and used it on another project that would benefit more from it, and replaced it with a Holton monster E flat bell.

Just out of curiosity, what did you end up using that bell section for?
