Gig Bag for a Getzen CB-50

Post by tylerferris1213 »

I've been using an ill-fitting case for my Getzen for almost 10 years now, and I think it's time to upgrade. Reach out to me at tylerferris1213@gmail.com if you have something!

Lee has at least a couple Cronkhite bags for the G-50 (Stofer custom) in stock.

Taylor Music (Aberdeen, South Dakota) had a VERY OLD / new stock (NOT shop-worn: NICE/gleaming) MTS hard case that fit my 19" bell / 32" tall front-action B-flat Holton AFTER I removed a considerable amount of the blocking (and re-blocked it).

...no wheels, but it's only 36" long...weighs a good bit more than a bag, but protects a good bit better...

The thing, though, is this: My tuba is less than 8 inches "thick" - front-to-back.
Is a G-50 "fatter" than that?

They sold it to me for a generously-low price...I wonder if they might (??) have yet another...

It's a handsome little b*gger.

I called Lee Stofer yesterday, and he did say he's getting some bags. I'll probably get one from him!
