Already passed. Or maybe more is on the way? Hmm… time to check the weather again. (I was out driving around in this mess earlier. Yuck.)

Seems to be the time for it. I had never heard of a "bomb cyclone" until I was driving in it on Sunday.

Wikipedia redirects "bomb cyclone" to "explosive cyclogenesis" apparently.

We also had one up in New England which just got called a Nor'easter.

I guess i drove through the aftermath earlier today in mid (down?) state NY, and that Delaware river is lookin' mighty engorged. As well as Canada geese swimming in one end of a field while the others waded... I guess i'll see the rest of it tomorrow?

Just so long as they don't call a bomb squad on the bomb cyclone...

And here in lovely Tucson it was 75 today and crystal blue sky with the lightest of breezes. Just don't even talk to me in June.

Tornadoes crossed - to the south of Wade - from Texas to Louisiana.

I have been inside a Wendy's that was directly hit (and destroyed) by an F4 tornado.

"Shartnado" is the greatest made-up word I have come across in decades because it is 100% accurate and descriptive. Thanks for the idea. I claim this new word, but give assist credit to Three Valves and Yorkboy. Together we create greatness, gentlemen. BAHAHAHA!!!

SHARTNADO, because sharks in tornadoes do not really happen, but SHARTS inside tornadoes are the norm…

Well, um, I had to look up what "shart" means....and..... BLEAH. Much worse than a man bun. Much. Finally I come to the division between female humor and male humor, and fall on the female side for once.

https://babylonbee.com/news/woman-whos- ... ransgender

AMERICAN FORK, UT—Kyrsten Blyrsten, a local mom and recovering shiplap addict, reportedly began wondering if she might be transgender after she drove around town to run errands without incident.

Suspicions that she may actually be a man trapped in a woman’s body began to well up inside her after she parked her minivan at Target without having to leave a note on the windshield of the vehicle next to her.

Just for the record....there are no gender identity problems here. None. I just happen to have the same interests as a lot of men. Finding female friends is hard when you're not interested in clothes, makeup, babies, movie actors, TV shows, etc. and would rather talk about locomotives, physics, astronomy, ham radio, why blowing things up is funny, and tubas. And I guess I'm not all that woke either; never gave a damn about ethnicity or who somebody likes to sleep with and still don't. I do get along better with Europeans because they are generally more direct, but that's a culture thing.
