This Tuba Tuesday the Museum features a 4 valve BBb helicon by Josef Sandner from the 19th Century.

I worked on one of those Sandner rotary tubas (not a helicon) - years ago - that featured a SUPER-DUPER THICK bottom bow.

Josef Sandner was active in the first third of the 20th century in Schönwerth by Graslitz at the address: Steingrube 98.

There is another Josef Sandner mentioned born in 1847 in Graslitz and established as Instrumentenmacher-Gewerbe on the 30th of January 1894, but this might be someone else.
