Bore: 0.755 in. measured at the 2nd valve

See the photos. Over-all condition of the tuba is very good, no major dents or wrinkles. All valves have good compression, springs and felts are in good condition. Tuning slides move freely, corks are in good condition, no leaks. The horn was chem cleaned when purchased about 2 years ago, has been played only sparingly since.



The tuning slides’ lacquer shows a certain amount of cosmetic wear.

How is the 34J different from the 24J/25J?

The 24/25J have short-stroke valves. The 3XJ series does not.

Since the ports on the valves are not oval, the valve bodies look slightly smaller in diameter and the valve button shafts don't seem to be offset like they are on the 2XJ series.
