When I was a young apprentice tuba major back in the 70’s, I used to love getting the Robert King Brass Player’s Guide every year to plan and order what I was going to study each semester. Everything you could possibly want was in one place: etude books, excerpt books, solos, duets, ensembles, etc. Fantastic resource. Fast forward to today, and me playing tuba once again after an over 20 year hiatus. I was surprised to find that the Robert King guide was no longer published because there was no more Robert King. Their music still existed, but now published by Alphonse Leduc. But the charm of RK was you could buy music of all publishers, and it was all nicely categorized. Stupidly, when I sold my old tuba, I also got rid of all my music, thinking I would never need it again.

So I bought the etude books I wanted from Sheet Music Plus. Now, after 5 months of etudes, scales, technique builders, and so forth, I want to work on some actual solos. Is there any modern day equivalent of the Robert King Guide, a place where you can find all the tuba music from all the publishers listed, organized, and available for purchase?
