John Packer JP379FF tuba (probably sold)

Post by bloke »

I'm posting these pictures for the potential buyer.
I've already sent them some quick orch' excerpt and range-extremities video demos...
Now that I'm slightly more accustomed to this PT-15 size tuba (vs. my smaller mouthpipe/smaller early valves' bore sizes B&S tuba), I may re-record those same excerpts and post them here.

I keep insisting that this instrument does not require the description suffix "...for the money", and - simply - is "a good F tuba."
...and yes (OK...depending on how much a vendor is marking up the jimbo above cost), they cost more than the jimbo-made one, but it's absolutely worth the difference, and our Mid-South Music, Inc. pricing is extremely competitive (for "new, with warranty").

This particular (used) instrument has survived two previous owners and - though the machine of the instrument remained perfect (other than needing cleaning) the extremities of it (as happens) were somewhat mishandled (all the typical dents/creases/etc.) so these are the "after/ready-to-ship" pics.

The original case is in good shape...Mrs. bloke did some of her magic on it.

If anyone might be interested in a brand-new one - and a confidential price quote (or in the piston valve model F tuba) - send me a message.
